ADMA Village Musher Program has 5 of 6 Spots in the ONAC Filled

Five of the six spots in the Village Musher Program have been filled for the 2015 GCI Open North American Championship Sled Dog Race. The first five mushers to qualify in the program to have their entry fees paid (up to $500) are: 1. Joseph Bifelt – Huslia, AK, 2. John Erhart – Tanana, AK, 3. Mike Fields – Circle, AK 4. Josh Cadzow – Ft. Yukon, AK 5. Charlie Jordan – Tanana, AK.

There is still one spot left in the race for this program.  If you know of a musher that is Alaskan Native and has a rural Alaska address, and they want to run in the ONAC, tell them to hurry and register.

See you all Wednesday, March 18 at the ONAC Registration at the Jeff Studdert Racing Grounds Mushers Hall.  Registration is from 11:30am – 1:00pm and will be followed immediately by the Jeff Studdert Memorial Race.  All mushers should be prepared to provide a 3-dog team and a sled for sponsor to ride in the 1-mile race.  Following the Jeff Studdert race is the Mushers Parade and Hampton Inn & Suites Draw.  Gather at the Fairbanks Curling Club at 5:00pm, we will line up trucks and start the Parade to the Draw at 5:30.  There will be a Meet the Musher Event for the public to meet all of the mushers  from 6pm – 7pm at the Pioneer Park Centennial Center open to the public.  The Hampton Inn & Suites Draw will begin at 7:00pm.
