Dangerous Section of Trail!

It has been brought to our attention there is a dangerous section of trail near the peat ponds where melting permafrost has created a sinkhole in the trail. Please use caution in this area as other ground nearby may be unstable as well.

The Board of Directors will be looking into what our options are for this area.

More detailed information on location sent in by a trail user: “There is a sink hole on a section of trail. The sink hole is located on a long stretch of trail overlooking the peat ponds. As one travels the last half mile towards the Henrik Court trail head entry point or the right turn going towards the golf course, the sink hole is on the last section of the raised trail…Also, the further one travels south on the trail, there is another area that is showing evidence of dipping.”

If we have any volunteers willing to put up signage / flagging, please contact ADMA or a Board Member.

Thank you and be careful out there!
