
The Alaska Dog Mushers Association is proud to celebrate 76 years of hosting the Open North American Championships, the world’s premier sprint sled dog race.
The ONAC is conducted under ADMA and ISDRA Rules.
Dozens of teams from around the world will convene in Fairbanks for the three-day race, which will start on Friday, March 18 at 1pm and run through Sunday, March 20. The Open North American Championships is the longest continuously-run sled dog race in the world.
Drug testing will be performed at the race.

Race Information
Wednesday March 16th, 2022
– 6:00 pm: Mushers Hall opens
– 7:00 pm: Sign up and Draw
Thursday March 17th, 2022
– 10:00 am: Mandatory Mushers meeting followed by Trail Viewing. Please bring your sled and a tow line.
Access to the property from Crossman Road will be blocked off for the 3 days of the race. You MUST enter from Farmers loop. Big trailers will be parked on the lower parking.
