Race Information
– Recreational class
This class is designed for slower teams, older slower mushers, beginners and pretty much anyone who wants to participate in the mushing community events at ADMA, without the competition. Participants will receive prizes; no money is awarded for this class. All ADMA race rules and regulations apply. The number of dogs, you choose to run, is completely up to you with a maximum of 8.
– Temperature cutoff
Preliminary races will be cancelled if the temperature at the Fairbanks International Airport is -20F or below at 8:15 a.m. on the day of the race. The temperature reported by the National Weather Service, at the Fairbanks International Airport at cut off time, regardless of the time of the update, is considered the official airport temperature.

– Entry fees
$15 per entry for all classes. We accept cash, check and debit/credit card payments.
– Sign-up Times
Skijoring entries must be submitted by 11:00 a.m.
4-dog entries must be submitted by 11:30 a.m.
6-dog entries must be submitted by 12:00 p.m.
8/10-dog and Open class entries must be submitted by 12:30 p.m.
Recreational class entries must be submitted by 12:30 p.m.
– Start Times
Skijor class will start at 11:30 a.m.
4-dog class will start at 12:00 p.m.
6-dog will start at 12:30 p.m. / 6-dog class will start at 12:45 p.m. if more than 15 teams enter the 4-dog race.
For the remainder of classes, there will be a 15 minute interval between the time the last team from previous class leaves the start line to the first team in the next class start time, and 30 minute interval between Open and Recreational class.
